Why I Buy Expensive Computers

As a developer I occasionally get asked why I spend so much on computer hardware. I’ve recently finished building a new desktop machine and I think this video demonstrates why the extra expense is worthwhile.

On the left is my old Dell laptop, and on the right is my new desktop machine. The difference in performance is quite extreme!
